The ceremonial premiere of the theatrical and poetic performance Šmátranie v širočine (Fumbling in the Vastness), directed by Soňa Ferancová, will take place on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7:30 in the new building of the Slovak National Theatre (SND). This unique harmony between world-class opera singer Štefan Kocán and prominent SND actor Ján Gallovič will stir up a magical imagery of inner voices and uncover the forgotten plains of your memory. You will find yourselves on a remarkable journey of depths and heights, only to return into the vastness of your own consciousness. The performance is based on a montage of poetry by the Slovak poet Ján Stacho assembled by Martin Solotruk.
The Ars Poetica Festival program in SND will continue on November 14, 2018 at 7:30 pm, with another musical evening titled Korene (Roots), centered around Elisabeth Wittgruber's poetry accompanied by Martin Geišberg's music. Verses touching the subject of a relationship between a man and a woman will be read by Táňa Pauhofová and Martin Geišberg.
