During the first evening of the festival, Thursday, November 15, 2018, lovers of great poetry will have a chance to lose themselves in the work of seven world-class poets: Luc Bénazet (France), Kathrin Schmidt (Germany), Alexandru Potcoavă (Romania), Risto Ahti (Finland), Camilla Nelson (Great Britain) and Kinga Tóth (Hungary). It is no doubt that the highlight of the evening will come with the performance of the Israeli poet Noam Partom.

Poetry will be read by Slovak actress Lucia Hurajúvá and actors Marek Majeský and Ivan Šándor. As per usual, Martin Solotruk will be the one leading the audience through the evening. The poetic segment of the evening will be followed by an exciting performance by Kieslowski, an iconic band based in Czech Republic.
Entrance to all events is free of charge.
