Excerpt:

"The painter Dorota Sadovská has a captivating temperament. She loves to laugh and she is able to create an aura of good mood around herself. Her opinions and ideas keep surprising. We witnessed it just recently, when we visited the exhibition Yellow Embrace in the Danubiana Museum together. She is a great storyteller and sees the world from unexpected angles. We felt similar feelings of discovery coming out of her paintings.

What questions do painters ask themselves? What questions do you ask yourself in particular?
Art tries to ask the most effective question: Why? It doesn't just concern itself with form, but also content. Thus, it doesn't just ask, "Why?" but also asks, "Does it have to be that way? Can't it be any other way?" The artists is obligated to open closets with skeletons, wander into uncharted territory and point to that which the society or the individual pushes into oblivion.

Are you getting answers to your questions?
Partially. It's the same in daily life, we always live just a little piece of it, a small excerpt at a time. By living longer and remembering the previous excerpts, one can learn to anticipate, and over the time, the parts connect with each other, but it is still merely a mosaic and we won't see the big picture until after death. That is not only arduous, but also fascinating."
