Daniela Zhang Cziráková at the International Conference in Beijing

Daniela Zhang Cziráková, an important Slovak translator and sinologist, but also a collaborator and translator for the International Poetry Festival Ars Poetica, will held a lecture at the International Conference "Intetranslations & Communications", which will take place from 8^th to 11^th April 2016 in Beijing, China.

The conference, organized by the Chinese Culture Translation and Study Support,
is to present the diversity of approaches in the translation of Chinese poetry into various languages.

The conference is also open to the international discussion on the situation of publishing poetry and in particular the Chinese poetry abroad. At the event a poetry reading night will also take place along with a book launch of Chinese translation of selected poems by the Slovenian poet Tomaž Šalamun. We are pleased that on such an important international event also Slovakia has its representation.
